Eagles
The Eagles are just beginning their school life - with children in Early Years and Year 1. They are taught by Miss Cook, class teacher, and Miss Gobey, teaching assistant, who follow the children's interests and facilitate learning experiences. The Eagles love spending time in our School Garden - building dens, playing imaginatively and looking after nature.
Parents are kept informed of the children's learning via the online platform Tapestry which is filled with photographs of our busy learners, as well as lots of useful information for parents, such as the pronunciation of new phonemes and information about our topics and tough tray activities.
For children in the Early Years, the Autumn Term starts with a focus on 'Marvellous Me', before the children go 'Down in the Woods'.
In the Spring Term, traditional tales shape our learning, then the children look at 'Things That Move'.
The Summer Term sees the children inspired by their topic, 'In the Garden' to learn about plants and animals. They then travel further afield in their learning 'Around the World.'
